A delicious clash of styles
Check out that branch of oregano! Isn't it a picture! And you haven't even tasted it yet. This vinaigrette based on Italian herbs is literally and figuratively divine. According to Greek mythology, Aphrodite 'the goddess of love' single-handedly brought oregano to earth. That explains that Italian passion.
Sounds delicious, but what is Vinaigrette?
As Italian as our ingredients are, vinaigrette is French. Oui, oui, it is a classic French dressing for over la salade. A mix of oil and vinegar in a ratio of 3 to 1. Normally seasoned with salt, pepper or garden herbs. But as you are used to from us, we do things a little differently at Pineut. The mix of (Italian) herbs, spices and vegetables make our vinaigrettes an odd one out. But one of the top categories.
How to make it?
- measure olive oil and balsamic vinegar in a measuring cup
- add to the bottle together with a teaspoon of honey
- shake the bottle well and let it stand for at least 1 week
- after 1 week the vinaigrette is ready, filtering is not necessary
