Rubber, the material from which tires are made, is one of the waste that most affects the planet. With its recycling, we try to give it a second chance and turn it into a durable use good, creating RUTA, since the recycled tire allows to create a resistant and adjustable frame. Its lenses, made of polycarbonate, are polarized, which allows us to reduce glare, optical stress, improve contrast and have UV 400 protection (cat. 3). The lens coating provides resistance to water, grease and scratches.

About Parafina Eco-Friendly Eyewear

This Spanish brands "creates eyewear that helps you to see a better world". The Parafina glasses are made using different organic and recycled materials, such as bamboo and recycled HPDE plastic, PET, rubber and aluminium. In addition, 5% of the proceeds go to the Parafina Social Project: this project provides school access to primary school kids from a small neighborhood of Asunción, Paraguay.
