About the GROWING series:
A beam of light breaks through the shadow on the terrace, putting the first growth spurt of a plant in the spotlight. A unique moment as the basis for this favorite. The fine, cotton knit consists of two colors, which are close to each other. The scarf therefore subtly shows its drawing. On the back you will find the opposite pattern, which gives you a nice positive / negative effect.

The STORY, as told by the designer:
'The basis of every moonoo scarf is a photo.  I didn't look too far for this first collection. I took pictures in and around our house and let myself be guided by the light, the shadows, the graphic compositions and those little details that make the difference. I selected the photos according to what I want to achieve with the scarves. They had to be smooth, but not quite. Because the colors lean together, the drawing comes out subtly. The graphic lines and details provide that extra touch. from pixel to knitting stitch.  So let's talk technical now.  Digital photos consist of pixels. By converting the photo into an image with only white and black pixels, you get the ideal basis for jacquard knitting. This conversion can be exact, without further manipulations, as with the first moonoo collection. But just as well, subsequent creations require a little more image editing. Stay tuned ...'
